Jazzkaar, always springing up afresh by the last weekend of April, will blossom almost into the month of May this year. However, warm of weather and spirit we certainly are but moving the festivities into the open air we won't, just yet. The indoor environment feels more conducive to deeper listening and a greater closeness with music. Moreover, Jazzkaar's genial indoors will feature a brand-new venue, the Kolossi Club, prepared especially for this year's event. The sounds and vibes inaugurating this space should both satiate the admirers of the cool northern mysticism and appease the adorers of the hot-blooded African rhythmagic. Molver’s Khmer, Osibisa, RinneRadio, Viril and Tüng 69 are among those whose music will thrill-fill the festive club-nights, together with the multiple mix-match manoeuvres of DJs from London, Finland and Estonia who'll be spinning the wheels of steel 'til the early hours of the morn. All in all, the festive table is spread for you for a whole week, resplendent with varied savours and musical flavours. Do relish as much as you possibly can. Enjoy the rest. And rest after the fest.
