Jazzkaar’s Winter Jazz 2009 takes place from January 22 to March 13.
The season will present such artists and projects as Klima Kalima and their new sounds, Endel Rivers Quartet with jazz-rock-classical-… project “Time River”, Baltic Quartet featuring the power of Estonian female singer Kaire Vilgats, Sawadu with a mix of African and French emotions, Helin-Mari Arder Quintet and their beautiful tribute to much-loved Estonian composer Kustas Kikerpuu and Thomas Siffling Trio, who bear the news of fresh German jazz.
The concert series is a welcome to 2009 and help get into the mood of heavy celebrating – this year’s Tallinn International Festival Jazzkaar will be the twentieth festival! More information to follow soon.
