We nicely closed the first week-end of the festival with the smooth voice of Liiski Koikson and her new album “Coffee for one”, along with Raun Juurikas at the keyboard, Raul Ojamaa at the guitar, Martti Laas at the bass and Tiit Kevad at the drums.
An experimental pop music assimilated with a vocal softness, that’s a short summary of the music offered by Liiski Koikson and her musicians this last Sunday. A smooth departure, then a beautiful explosion with the song « Procrastination girl », a subtle interpretation of the famous Beady Bell’s song « When my anger starts to cry », and a touching version of the song eponym of the album: here are the main ingredients of the recipe, tinted by both solitude and joy, which successfully enthralled the large audience raring to hear a reference of the new Estonian music.
