This makes an incredible new and fresh flamenco that teleported everybody in Marina Pavilion to a typical Andalusian <em>tableao flamenco<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The place was crowded the same way it was for Vaiko Eplik\u2019s and Kristjan Randalu\u2019s concert. It was a pleasurable sight as it shows that Estonians love Spanish culture.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The mixture of southern Spanish and Catalonian passionate women dressed elegantly in a typical Spanish flamenco outfits dazzled the audience as they were ready for an entertaining evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Las Migas started with <em>Con toda palabra (With all word)<\/em>, first song of their last album <em>Nosotras Somos (We are)<\/em>.<em> A Lhasa De Shela<\/em>\u00a0 cover impacts in your heart and soul. It started slowly showing the sweet voice of <strong>Alba Carmona<\/strong> and became more powerful with the impressive guitar riffs from the main composer and the only one from the first group back in 2004, <strong>Marta Robles<\/strong>. <strong>Roser Loscos<\/strong> playing the violin made a delightful, perfect combination of flamenco and tango sounds every time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">They are a multicultural band and <em>La Pla\u00e7a del Diamant (Diamond&#8217;s square)<\/em> was in Catalonian. It is very emotional song that gives the essence of post civil war in Barcelona and also describes the novel by Merc\u00e9 Rodoreda of the same title. It is a song that manifests the differences between Spanish and Catalonian language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An energetic buler\u00eda (a complex flamenco variety) called<em> Dime que s\u00ed<\/em> (Tell me yes) invited the audience to clap to the sentimental voices of Alba and the amazing guitar riffs from Marta and Alicia Grillo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Las Migas caught the audience in to their hands and the show really started after <em>Dime que s\u00ed<\/em>. All the members made a connection with the demanding Estonian audience \u00addespite of their lack of English by showing good mood and trying to speak something in Estonian. Also the amazing <em>zapateados<\/em> (percussion with heels) and exotic flamenco dance of Alba Carmona made the audience vibrate and feel the power of traditional Spanish folklore with their song<em> Los peregrinitos (The pilgrims)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">They performed some brand new songs like <em>D\u00e9jalos que digan (Let them say)<\/em> or <em>Vente Conmigo (Come with me)<\/em> from their new repertory because the band has faced to many changes in all these 10 years of history, especially in 2013. <em>Sentida Canci\u00f3n (Heartfelt song)<\/em> was, as the title says, a very emotional love ballad from Venezuela. The song talks about life, love and time passing in relationships. It was a nice change of registry. The music notes from the violin, two guitars and passionate voice introduced in people&#8217;s hearts and I saw people really soulful at that moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There was also a moment for a guitar solo. Of course, it was the work of the actual leader Marta Robles who is standing with the band since its formation. It was<em> Ronde\u00f1a<\/em> (flamenco variety from M\u00e1laga) created \u00a0by \u00a0the \u00a0guitar \u00a0genius \u00a0composer <strong>\u00a0Ram\u00f3n \u00a0Montoya<\/strong>. Then <em>\u00a0So\u00f1\u00e9 \u00a0(I \u00a0dreamed)<\/em> \u00a0was performed, a song composed by Marta that mixes flamenco lyrics extracted from literature \u00a0and chill out tunes kind of \u201c<em>habanera<\/em> music\u201d from Cuba.<\/p>\n<p>Another \u00a0brand \u00a0new \u00a0song \u00a0was \u00a0announced \u00a0by \u00a0Alba, \u00a0who \u00a0wrote the \u00a0lyrics, \u00a0as: \u00a0\u201cNext \u00a0song \u00a0is dedicated \u00a0to \u00a0all \u00a0grandmothers \u00a0and especially to my grandmother,<em>\u00a0<\/em>Carmela.&#8221; It was music full of melancholy and emotions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">The best moment came during the prelude of <em>Larga vida al loco (Long life the mad).<\/em> It showed many \u00a0different registries starting with soft melodies, developing into total devotion and intensity with sad lyrics written \u00a0by \u00a0<strong>David \u00a0de \u00a0la Chica<\/strong>. After this song \u00a0the concert became totally crazy and finally the Estonian crowd lost their shyness. The vocalist Alba was strongly connected with the audience and there was a moment for people to participate with singing \u00a0and clapping. A Catalonian rumba related with Barcelona,\u00a0<em>Gitana Hechicera<\/em>\u00a0<em>(Gypsy sorceress)<\/em> and a gypsy tango <em>La guitarrina \u00a0(The small guitar)<\/em> were the perfect moment to make the crowded pavilion sing words as \u201c<em>Marab\u00fa<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>pero tus ojos azules<\/em>\u201d (but your blue eyes) with nice sense of humour.
