The exotic club band Yemen Blues loves an energetic combination of Middle East sounds that have been spiced with funk, blues, and rock. The sound that is born respects the musical traditions of Yemen and West Africa. The first album of the band ‘Yemen Blues’ (2011) was named album of the year in world music category by the Canadian magazine ‘Le Devoir’ and in Sweden album of the year by newspaper SVD.
