Together with Miljardid, Marten Kuningas presents his vision of the finest works by artists captured through the lens of legendary photographer Anton Corbijn – David Bowie, Depeche Mode, U2, as well as David Byrne and Talking Heads. Having previously delivered compelling tributes to both Bowie and The Beatles, Kuningas captures what is essential as an interpreter, doing so with sensitivity and a distinctive personal touch. The concert also marks the final day of Dutch master photographer Anton Corbijn’s solo exhibition at Fotografiska Tallinn.

Marten Kuningas is a songwriter and the “chairman” of the band Miljardid – as he likes to call himself. He has released the solo albums Janu (2012) and Praktiline mees (2014), as well as Kunagi Läänes (2017) and Ma luban, et ma muutun (2020) with Miljardid. Kuningas has also worked as a composer and musical director for theatre productions at the Estonian Drama Theatre and Vaba Lava, and in 2021 he published his poetry collection Sabata koma.

In 2025, master photographer Anton Corbijn celebrated a double anniversary – his 70th birthday and 50 years of creative work. To mark this milestone, he opened a major retrospective exhibition at Fotografiska, which, following a successful premiere in Stockholm, arrived in Tallinn in January 2026. The exhibition, Corbijn, Anton, features portraits of music legends such as Depeche Mode, Tom Waits, Patti Smith, Nick Cave, David Bowie, U2, and The Rolling Stones.

The concert is presented in cooperation with Fotografiska Tallinn.

PS: Anton Corbijn will not be attending the concert or staying in Estonia during the event.
