Estonian bassguitarist Raul Vaigla celebrated his 60th birthday this summer, having worked for the past 40 years of his life as a professional musician. Beloved artist, always creative and innovative bass player Raul Vaigla is bringing MUBA bigband on stage with him for his last concert of the year, because from the fall of 2022, he is working as a teacher at MUBA, already having 20 years of experience teaching at Georg Ots Tallinn Music School–another thing worth celebrating!

At this year’s Christmas Jazz there will be a variety of works from Vaigla’s solo albums Soul of Bass, Heights, A Better Place, and Killud, which was released last summer. The bass connoisseur is accompanied by his daughter Marie Vaigla, Robert Linna, and Tero Saarti, and the powerful MUBA bigband which is led by conductor and multi-instrumentalist Siim Aimla.
