Tord Gustavsen (Norway)

Norwegian jazz superstar Tord Gustavsen comes to Estonia for the first time! Over the course of his long career, the pianist has released ten albums on the prestigious ECM label, toured extensively around the world and collaborated with some of Europe’s finest musicians. In 2024, Académie du Jazz named him European Jazz Musician of the Year. His piano compositions have a crisp, elemental quality that evokes the North Sea, while also recalling the solo work of American jazz legend Keith Jarrett. Beneath the vaulted ceilings of Niguliste Church in wintry Tallinn, Tord Gustavsen’s solo concert promises to feel especially at home – serene, warm and with a little touch of magic.
