Britta Virves Trio „Juniper“ (Estonia–Sweden)

Sweden-based pianist originally from Saaremaa, Britta Virves will perform at Christmas Jazz for the first time. With bassist Petter Olofsson and drummer Jonas Bäckman, she will play music from her most recent LP Juniper, intertwining the influences from around the world and memories of the junipers on her home island. In every way, this music will bring the singer, who has travelled far from home, back to her roots.
